Grant Snyder, Sergeant, Minneapolis Police Department, has spent nearly 30 years focusing on investigations, advocacy and research involving victims of sexual assault, child sexual abuse, and commercial sexual exploitation. He has worked in both the public and private sectors, to include both federal and local law enforcement agencies, and various non-profits. Currently he is a detective with the Minneapolis Police Department, Special Crimes Investigation Division. Sgt. Snyder has been investigating human trafficking and sex trafficking crimes since 2000. He is currently the lead investigator in all human trafficking/sex trafficking cases for Minneapolis Police with an emphasis on juvenile sexual exploitation. Sgt. Snyder works in close collaboration with the FBI and Homeland Security Investigations, and is a former specially deputized US Marshal, as well as a former Task force officer with both the FBI and ATF. Sgt. Snyder is a member of the Minnesota Statewide Human Trafficking Task Force, as well as the Metro Area Prostitution Collaboration/Jerry Vick Task Force.

Kristy Collier, West Metro Safe Harbor Regional Navigator (Counties: Hennepin, Scott and Carver): Kristy Collier has been working with the Link for almost two years. Her original role was running their Parent Education program a pilot program directed at reaching African American parents. Prior to working with the Link Kristy worked for the National Alliance on Mental Illness and the MN Department of Human Services as a trainer and guest speaker on Children’s Mental Health. Kristy has her Bachelors in Human Services and is completing her internship for her Masters Degree receiving her licensure in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
